		<description>I have also been weighing the whole land line issue.  The only people who ever call me are bill collectors looking for old roommates or the Salvation Army looking for old clothes. Then I remebered a certain friend of mine who has an affinity for being arrested.  Cancelling your land line means you are no longer able to receive collect calls.  This may be something to consider if you have friends who have police encounters.  You might also think about this if you have a kid who is away at college.  That collect call can be pretty important in the event of an emergency.</description>
